The Story Behind the Stop
Montana
Montana was meant to be the end of the road, and instead it became a beginning. I drove up to Glacier in late winter, the roads half-cleared, and waited out a storm in the van for two days. On the third morning the clouds lifted off the lake and the light came straight up the valley. I shot 'First Light' in about eleven minutes. It became the second journey edition.
